More news just in....

Hi all just got this from Rachel:
"Dear Tim, Rachelle & everyone,
Hope you are all well? Hopefully Tim you can post this at the Rawhide Times as I'm not sure what I should be doing!!! It's been a long time I know... sorry but at long last we have a new 'working' computer & I'm all set to check my mail & send some on a more regular basis. I have loved catching up on everyone's news, although it felt a little bit like I was spying!!! So here's all my news... if that's okay!
Tyron & I are still Living in Newcastle, I'm still working with young adults with Autism but now I'm teaching which I really enjoy, I teach emotional literacy (which is stuff like emotions, anger management, development & a bit of sex ed... which funnily enough I really enjoy!!!) We are still really involved in church I lead worship or I did until September...taking a bit of a break due to a new addition to the family!!!
In September we had a baby girl called Lily Grace, she's amazing & we love being parent... it's the best job! We have had a bit of a rocky start Lily was born with her foodpipe (oesophagus) blind ended & the other half joined to her trachea (windpipe), so she needed immediate surgery. We had her home for about six weeks & she started to develop breathing problems & had several blue episodes (very scary!!!) so she had more major surgery... God got us through it all. One lady at our church was praying for us just after Lily was born, she knew we'd had a baby & that there were problems but didn't know any details about sex, name etc... God gave her a picture of a Lily (flower), perfect in form, growing tall & strong! This is the promise that we have held on to through all the rough times. She is nearly 6 months, is full of character, is definitely a 'daddies girl' & sooo beautiful, although I'm totally biased!!! At the moment she's great, she is having surgery again in august to remove a little part of her kidney & then hopefully that is everything. I have included a few pictures too!!!
So that's us, it would be lovely to hear from y'all (I can still do a little american accent now & again!) Please send us the details of the reunion, I would love to try & make it. Love to you all... I have so many special memories of you & wish I could be back there sometimes.
Love Rachel xxxx 'Fig Newton'"
