News

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a super New Year!
Thanks to all who sent Christmas cards and notes, especially ones with photos and updates...my how your children are growing! : ) I usually post photos on the refrigerator and there is still plenty of room (hint..hint).
Any how I thought I would catch some of you up on the Tate news.
Paul, Rosie, Sam and I got to go to New Zealand this year! YEEEHAW! Paul has not been back in 17 years and of course the girls and I have never been. Soooooo, we took 16 days to fly over there and visit with family and friends and see some of the INCREDIBLE sights. We found out a few things about Pauls youth that explain some "behaviors" he has. ; ) If you are interested in the photos, and there are LOTS of them, email Paul at ptatenz@yahoo.com and he will send the link to his Yahoo Photo page. The trip in summary was absolutely fantastic. The girls got to swim with wild dolphins, we hiked the area around "Mount Doom," went into some amazing caverns and caves, and saw some of the most incredible scenery I have ever seen in person. And the best part was, we got to do it as a family..all of us together...going the same direction (well, most of the time anyhow).
Sam is 15 now and a sophomore. At 5'9" she is tied with Paul and taller than Rosie or me. This year she is raising a steer for FFA and is in the Warrior Choir (the high school choir). Sam has become very particular about how she looks and what she wears now...who woulda thunk it!
Rosie is the Riding Director her and has a pretty serious boyfriend that lives in Australia. Yes, they met here when he was a counselor this last summer. Matt is a really nice guy and takes good care of Rosie. Paul even likes him and doesn't put it too much against him that he is an Aussie.
We had to put Jess Dog and PK down this spring due to advancing age complications. It is weird still sometimes not having them around.
Well, I gotta go. Time to pick Sam up from school.
Have a great 2006.
God bless.
Mo
